After all, death is the thing that scares me the most

In the last class this semester "Grief Loss Bereavement", I was often impressed by the stories told by the teacher. The midterm assignment is to compare two movies or novels about death and loss. Looked for this film to watch. I have to say, too heavy. Without translation, the English 14-line poem is already obscure, and the wise Professor Bearing’s self-analysis is also very deep. Everything is so heavy that I cannot bear it. It's really heavy.

This may have my own psychological problems. The depiction of death in John Donne's poem is just a comma, and there is a quick pause, and immortality is entered. But in the face of life withering little by little, I still feel cruel. No matter how strong a person is, at this point, when death is powerless to life's rapid passing away, he will cry, be afraid, and be depressed. Professor Bearing is so. This is true for mortals.

The fear of death is a black hole. There is no way to get rid of it. Emma Thompson was a brave man, and used so much energy to explain this process. But it really scared me. Finally, thank her. Let me renew my passion for life.
