After looking at the tidbits, I found out that this is really a picture of a real person. When filming this cartoon, we first performed it with a real person and shot it with a video camera. Then the film was developed into a photo, and the artist copied the photo on the paper.
Nowadays, 3D animation is very popular. A technique called "motion capture" is to put many small dots on the human body, and then do some actions. After the computer captures the movement trajectory of these dots, it can be used for the characters in the animation. Create a form that is closer to the action of a real person, and can solve difficult problems such as simulating the sense of gravity. For example, "Polar Express" is a typical representative of using this technology.
It now appears that "Dynamic Capture" is also used in "Ice Fire God and Demon", and it is one of the earliest "motion capture".
