Because "Pain and Glory" made me fall in love with the director Pedro Almodovar, who is known as the director's semi-autobiographical homosexual trilogy "Law of Desire", "Bad Education", "Pain and Glory" It is definitely a must-see. The film won the Best Feature Film at the Teddy Award at the 37th Berlin International Film Festival in 1987. It should not be difficult to find that the film involves transgender, incest, homosexuality, and male nude self-professional scenes after reading the above synopsis. The director wants to pass These exaggerated and joking descriptions of sex and violent crime challenge traditional moral concepts.
Similarly, I did not read the introduction before watching the movie. I ignored the style of "Bad Education". It was a wrong angle to watch "Law of Desire" while obsessed with "Pain and Glory". As a result, I fell into the sadness of "Flaming Coins" again. The first half is full of the joy of love, but the turning point in the middle made me instantly full of the stereotyped "love, jealousy, crime, amnesia" soap opera perspective of this movie, but the ending instantly pulled me back.
Antonio who continues to stretch during the movie watching: handsome young love-seeking youth, movie fans & Pablo fanatics, outspoken and innocent and conservative rich children, jealous and despicable murderers, love to death!
