After watching [felicity] that is as warm and innocent as the heroine’s brilliant smile, I feel that when the possibilities that have been missed and those that are about to be missed appear in front of us at the same time, we can only fall into the dark night covered by stars. Under the whirlpool, feel powerlessly about the subjective, instinctive, and spreading sorrows about life, about destiny, and about our own sense of tearing.
A writer once said that a joyous film like [Rain in the Rain] can dispel suicidal thoughts, because it makes people feel the beauty and hope of life. But this movie-watching experience tonight has taught me that beautiful stories can only make people kind, not optimistic.
