I have hardly written a long review, and I am not writing this review because I like the movie very much. On the contrary, I don't like it. I feel depressed from beginning to end. The most desperate moment is that death did not bring the protagonist the relief he expected, and his shouting has become a joke for spectators. From my personal point of view, it is a good film that reflects the psychology of suicides rather than a failed same-sex film. I have a few thoughts about this film:
One is that no matter what kind of mentality Alex is out of, his behavior is absolutely improper. There is no beautiful possibility for this story. Even if it shows a beautiful possibility and a promising future, the moment it is ruined is ruined. Regardless of whether Dominik and Alex like each other or not, what I see is that for the sensitive Dominik, bullying and bad words ruined his beautiful love and became the cause of his pain. When he yearned for identification and friendliness most, he received indiscriminate teasing and humiliation. Being ridiculed at school and unable to gain the understanding of his parents, he returned to the place where the maliciousness was initially amplified-the Internet, searching for understanding, and getting rid of loneliness. The second is why the pain and struggle in the film are considered as disease-free groans? The suicide of the male protagonist seems "very sudden"? Is Sevia the chief culprit in inducing the protagonist to commit suicide in the film? How much responsibility do classmates, parents, and the Internet each bear?
First of all, the "suicide space" instigates suicide is definitely not white, but its most important attribute in the film is not that it instigates suicide and discusses the cult temperament and illegal elements of suicide, but a word to those who keep themselves in the room. For non-posters, that virtual world is the only way we can see their hearts. Wouldn't anyone want to commit suicide by deleting all the suicide plots in the works? It’s not just the male protagonist who suffers, but also the other people in the "suicide space". They are afraid and obsessed with death. This contradictory attitude is not hypocrisy or being cool, not wanting to die, just not wanting to live. If life and loneliness must go together, can only death be able to get rid of loneliness? In the colorful cyberspace, you can dance, fly, fight, hug and kiss, but these things are not real. When the virtual villain dominik is golden When looking at the scenery from the tree, in reality, he shut himself in the room and shed tears. Not everyone can run out of the room and shout in the sun. Those who disappeared in the suicide space, where did they go? Are they still afraid, or have they long since disappeared like the virtual tombstones they have left? It is not so much that they are weak and hypocritical. It is better to say that they still have something to remember and want to redeem. However, their joys and sorrows are not similar to those of our spectators. Some people just want to say that their glass heart is not mainstream. Just as the male protagonist who turned into a video on the Internet for everyone to "watch" and the self-harm at the beginning, their shouts are nothing more than a moment of leisure to watch the guests. The obsession with understanding can only be more bruised and bruised in this kind of ruthless gaze. You can call this kind of innocence or naive ignorance, but it is by no means pretentious. Virtual space is not a source of fire. It is a pile of dry firewood. People who are eager for warmth struggle to get close to it. It can bring light and destruction. In the end, the one who chooses to destroy everything rather than rekindle hope is always oneself. The last person who died in the film was both "Dominik" and "Sevia". It was the countless people behind their names who kept themselves in the room. Those who have not yet died, who may have persuaded or led others to seek death.
Secondly, the reaction of the parents... can be said to be very real. Oh he is quite healthy. How could he want to commit suicide? I give you a lot of money, you will cure him quickly! What? It takes time? What? It may not be good? Okay, goodbye, you. On the one hand, anxious and worried but helpless. Under the environment of "Mom can't talk now, goodbye", parents have already "very hard" but can't do anything to invest. It is not precisely what you want by saying "what do you want". In addition, because the children are grown-ups, the parents never enter the room and continue to use the Internet cable and do not force the children to go to school. As a Chinese child, I really don’t know what to do. Perhaps this kind of respect is behind the strangeness and alienation. They don’t know the children. What exactly is needed.
Finally, the classmates who maliciously comment, or the projected network group, they can arbitrarily launch vicious attacks on people they don’t know, and make a superior judgment in order to vent. And this is indeed the end of the world for those who have given "understanding and recognition" a high value. There is not much performance in this part of the film, but the online video that echoes from the beginning and the end clearly reveals the horror of online violence. It more directly shows the male protagonist’s tears, irritability, and electronic music that he does not like in the background music. It is really a contradiction. Dominik is deeply hurt by maliciousness, but still hopes to seek a glimmer of redemption on the Internet.
The third is that there are many different kiss scenes in the film. They are not just in the sense of love, but reveal the passionate obsession with life of the person who longs for death. The last place is the most special. The protagonist kisses the wall in the chaos and pain of dying, but he is not redeemed after all.
The kiss with Alex originated from a joke but brought a self-recognition awakening, which triggered a series of plots later. Kissing with the plaster statue, making this move stubbornly in front of parents and bosses husband and wife, dominik is extremely eager for someone to recognize that he is a person who needs love and understanding, and it takes time to walk into his heart instead of using money to build false companionship. . The kiss with Seville, in the virtual world, and the kiss in the deep sea, the virtual form makes people feel that this is more like a soul than a real person, but it is far away from the soul. In fact, these kisses are as innocent but sensitive and affectionate as dominik. The gentle kisses seem to maintain the thread between death and life, making dominik still attached to the world. ——The plaster statue is cold and fragile, Sevia is virtual out of reach, Alex once may be a warm thought of redemption, but everything has been completely destroyed. So these sincere kisses can only go to the final farewell kiss, the pill is turned over in the hand, everything around is still fresh and full of desire, only the dying person kisses the cold wall desperately. But stepping into another piece of darkness cannot solve the darkness in which he is in. There is no love and understanding in the world after birth, but he leaves a lonely and cold world forever. But Dominik can get rid of the pain caused by life by getting rid of life, but he died lonely. The partners in the space disappeared one by one, and they left virtual tombstones, but when they really left, these had already lost their meaning. As for the living, the lasting thing is not understanding, and the incredible thing is the connection of hearts. Who knows, we arrogantly exude opinions, and the next person who is maliciously corroded will sleep forever in the ocean of data.
So why did I give it four stars? First, it was very painful after watching it. Second, I didn’t find anyone who resonated with me. Third, the ending credits are indeed educational. At least I don’t plan to do that. It's late, just write here, and record the personal feelings of the movie for yourself. -end-
