My favorite movie

I have read countless films, and I know it is rare to encounter a good film. In my sophomore year, the School of Radio, Film and Television used to show movies in the multifunctional hall, and that night there were only a few people sitting scattered in the audience. After seeing the movie, I was so excited that I couldn't speak. Since then, I have been shopping for discs and ran all over Changchun's big and small disc shops, and finally found it a year later. I have read it eight times so far, and I have new feelings every time.
Linklater's shooting method is really too risky, a lot of long shots often make people drowsy, not to mention only constant dialogue. I can only say that he is a genius! There is no procrastination in the long dialogue, only moving and thinking. The performance of Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy is also natural. I have seen the filming introduction of the film, and I know that such a difficult long shot is often done once and again, and the actors still have a lot of improvisation. What a pleasant process to create this film!
If the film is no longer produced but such an elegant creation, I can't imagine how many good films should be enjoyed.

Love affirms a sentence in this series: it starts with appearance, respects talent, suits character, lasts for kindness, and finally character. Communication between men and women is really important. The depth of communication determines whether these two people can finally get together.

Before Sunrise quotes

  • Celine: Did your parents divorce?

Jesse: Yeah. Finally. They should have done it a lot sooner, but they stuck together for a while for the "well-being of my sister and I", thank you very much.

  • Celine: You know, I've been wondering lately. Do you know anyone who's in a happy relationship?

Jesse: Uh, yeah, sure. I know happy couples. But I think they lie to each other.

Celine: Hmf. Yeah. People can lead their life as a lie. My grandmother, she was married to this man, and I always thought she had a very simple, uncomplicated love life. But she just confessed to me that she spent her whole life dreaming about another man she was always in love with. She just accepted her fate. It's so sad.

Jesse: I guarantee you, it was better that way. If she'd ever got to know him, I'm sure he would have disappointed her eventually.

Celine: How do you know? You don't know them.

Jesse: Yeah, I know, I know. It's just, people have these romantic projections they put on everything. That's not based on any kind of reality.
