Hell cannot be sublimated

First of all, from the perspective of a movie, this is definitely not a good movie. But we have to admire the director's courage to bring such a sensitive topic to the screen. Waiting for his future is as unpredictable as Iraq under his lens.

The film describes the story of American soldiers serving in Iraq, focusing on the life of a unit. They live under immense pressure every day and experience many baptisms of death. The three episodes described in the film are precisely the issues that have been questioned by the media and public opinion after the coalition forces stationed in Iraq. In the case of language barriers, do the coalition forces have the right to shoot directly? An Iraqi who drove through the checkpoint with his sister who was about to give birth, understood the gesture of the US soldier to slow down as a pass. He hadn't read the book and didn't know the warning signs all over the checkpoint. His sister and the child in his stomach were killed in a burst of bullets. If they are to be held accountable, is it because they are illiterate, or because they have misunderstood it? The soldiers argued in their camp. They were at the intersection of humanity and mission. Soon, their boss was killed by the Iraqi whom they named terrorists. They are unanimous at this death. This is why, are they only able to enjoy natural human rights? In the end, I didn't expect that there would be such a bad paragraph at the end. The few American soldiers who could not tolerate sexual hunger in the barracks sneaked into a residential house, raped a 15-year-old girl, shot and killed her after receiving resistance, and set fire to the body.

Oh yes, the American soldiers are under great pressure there. Their comrades-in-arms are killed by the Iraqis. They can't stand the loneliness and thirst of human nature, but they can't get past their own level! American soldiers who went with but did not directly participate described this as a scene in hell. This is even more unforgettable for them than they appear at the checkpoint every day facing the danger of being killed. They were retaliated against by the Iraqis, publicly retaliated. Cruel images of the killing of American soldiers appeared online. And the people who are obviously not Iraqis call them deserved. War belongs to the country, and human nature belongs to all mankind. There is no doubt that no one can accept the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl. No matter what painful heart or pressure the perpetrator has.

The filming technique of the film is a story documentary. The camera lens and the regular movie lens are frequently switched, and the monitor lens, night blind lens and online video are also used. Camera lenses have been used in many experimental films, as are monitors, and night-blind lenses are clearly a special vehicle for describing wartime conditions. Through the pan-green lens, the eyes of the American soldiers who went to the girl's house were white, revealing undeniable terror and evil. Such visual processing is obviously a highlight of the film. In addition, the monotonous and heavy background music that has always appeared in the film is also worth mentioning. As for other things, I can't find out the outstanding ones. The more shocking photos at the end of the film did not make up much.

The last thing to remind is that there are a certain number of shocking scenes in the film. Due to its realism, it is best not to watch it casually without psychological preparation.
