Thoughts | Disappointed

I saw the trailer for this movie about half a year ago, and I was looking forward to it. In my opinion, this is a Holiday Movie. The plot is simple, the atmosphere is warm, and the colors are bright. It is suitable for the whole family in the snowy season outside the window, holding a cup of hot cocoa in their hands, cuddling with each other under the dim light while chatting and watching. Like several of The Home Alone a few years ago, I will look at it even on Christmas in recent years. After such a long time, I still feel warm when I watch it.

I have the same expectation for this movie, and I can feel that it also wants to go this way, but there is a kind of embarrassment that the effort is not on the idea. I'm most afraid of watching movies like this. Watching the people in the movie try so hard to render a certain atmosphere, but the audience can't get their emotions at all. I feel embarrassed for them.

Especially like this movie, it is obvious that it wants to focus on the contrast of muscular men as dads. Seeing John Cena, who looks like a tough guy with iron and blood, looks cute in pink Pony Cropped short sleeves, I feel sad. It's a pity that this body is so muscular.

I probably made a mistake about the positioning of this movie. It was probably released to make children's money. The performance of the actors is too exaggerated, and the laughter is also inexplicable. Many scenes that should have a soundtrack also don't have a soundtrack. It feels like adding a little laughter effect can directly turn into a sitcom.

Anyway, it is a drama that is not worth watching and not worth talking about.
