"Law of Desire" is a movie from 20 years ago. Antonio Banderas is still a young boy; now he played the old mother Carmen Mullah in "Return", and he was still able to play a role at that time. A transgender person with lingering charm; Pedro Almodóvar, who caught a glimpse in the film, has not had white temples and has a big belly... This is a relatively rare male film in Almodóvar, and it is separated from that one. "Bad Education", which has been around for nearly 20 years, is like the pros and cons of a coin. "The Law of Desire" welcomes the light, which is the sad and bright side; the shadow of "Bad Education" is the sad and dark side. Too many similar elements can be found in these two films: the protagonist’s directorship, the transgender who was violated by the priest in his youth, the same-sex love entanglement, murder, the scene in the play..., the same passionate color is completely different. The warm and cold tones. Antonio in "The Law of Desire" is deliberate, domineering and crazy. He keeps track of Pablo's appearance and makes random encounters; he does what his lover likes, carefully cleans up the house and paints the walls for him; he has a strong possessiveness and cannot bear the correspondence between Pablo and his lover Juan; he Crazy for love, kill the rival of love, kidnap the lover's "sister", do everything possible to get back to being alone with the lover for an hour. Killing, kidnapping, shaking the sky, moving the earth, Antonio loves the most affectionate, as it should be; Antonio's love makes people sad and speechless. To the end of the film, Pablo, who has always refused to accept Antonio, finally realizes what a love that is maddening to death. There is a tender female voice singing in the room: "I doubt, I doubt, will you love me this way forever? Love me like I love you. I doubt, I doubt, can you still find this kind of love? Like me to you Such pure love..." The life on the verge of death bursts with beauty and calmness, and the madness at all costs reflects innocence and moving. "Did I kiss? This is what you taught me..." It was lingering for an hour, as if only you and me were left in the world. Antonio puts a sheet on Pablo and exhorts him not to catch the cold. Then a gunshot ended everything, and only Pablo was holding Antonio's body, shaking and crying uncontrollably. In front of the statue of the Virgin, the flames spread silently and scorchingly. Ask who else in this world loves you like me... Almodovar's movie is like this: crazy and weird that you have to wash away with tears and affection; the color is so strong that you will never lose warmth and beauty.
