Grim Reaper can be said to be my favorite anime in middle school, even surpassing Gang Lian (Although the next door Gang Lian is also the scene of the nine-car serial crash), I personally prefer to add one star to selfishness.
Everyone has talked a lot about the shortcomings of this realization, so I don't want to talk about it anymore, just say some personal opinions.
First of all, it is absolutely impossible for such a long anime to fit into a 120-minute movie. Not to mention 10 episodes, 5 episodes can't be completed. Of course, long-form anime is long and smelly because of its own characteristics, and it loves to eat up your appetite. , And only a little bit more every week, a long shot and a half episode, chopped off the beginning and end, resulting in the shortcomings of no progress in the plot for several weeks.
Therefore, it is inevitable for every comic to rewrite the plot. There is no need to over-pursue the similarity in the plot of the comic work to the original story, otherwise the original party will not be able to stand it if a dime is taken, but how much proportion is based on the original version, and how many parts are re-set will be very particular. I think the similarity to the original is a bit too high, because the original version needs to consider the subsequent development (such as the confrontation of various forces in the corpse world), and many parts need to be echoed in the following plot. Because of the short space, the real-life version does not have these settings. It is necessary to make the film more independent and complete.
At the end, because basically there will be no second season (possible), so it must be a finishing touch, and a little easter egg will be OK. There is no problem with the settings here.
Then there is the part of the character design, which will definitely be modified because of the story, but there is still nothing strange about it, so this is also good. The hardware such as fighting scenes and props are also well received.
Finally, I want to complain about one of the points of Japanese movies. The protagonist's role is severely expanded, and the characters other than the protagonist are severely compressed. Not only do they have no role, but also no personality. If it is an original movie, the sense of contradiction is especially obvious ( In fact, original movies are also obvious). Don't talk about the lines, some of them don't even have a few shots.
In general, I rate this live-action version between 5-6 points. Write a film review for the first time, personal opinion, light spray.
