City of Cats:

"A cat meowing at your feet, looking up at you,

Is life smiling at you.

Those are moments when we're lucky,

It makes us realize that we are really alive, they remind us that we're alive."

This sentence is a sentence that moved me.

One of the kittens died unfortunately. The uncle held the kitten in his hands, touched its head with his fingers, and listened to whether it was breathing with his ears, and looked at the kitten with pity on his face. On the way to send the kitten to the hospital, the uncle kept his waist upright and held the breathless kitten with both hands...

This is one of the plots that moved me.

The movie is simple, and what people say is simple, but it records the special relationship between cats and people in Istanbul. Envious of this special relationship, I hope I can also establish this kind of intimacy with our two cats.

Highly recommended, a must-see for cat lovers.

Kedi quotes

  • Unnamed Human Resident of Istanbul: I accept death as a reality but I have difficultydealing with the longing. That's my problem with death.

  • Bülent Üstün: Any ungrateful behavior on their part is really an act of sincerity. They don't need to apologize. I guess there are people who expect that from a cat. "I gave you all that food and you won't even sit on my lap". A relationship where they expect a return on an investment.
