I originally doubted whether this work could surpass the 1991 "Death of Superman" comics and the 2007 animation. It seems redundant now.
Compared with the 2007 version, this work can be said to be surpassed in all aspects. This time the story is divided into two episodes, which also gives more room for the death of Superman and the Battle of the Cloak.
The first thing to talk about is the plot. The layout of this game is much bigger, and it is no longer the previous Superman fighting alone to deal with the day of destruction. This time Zhenglian takes turns to take turns, not only to undertake the main story of the Justice League, but also to expand the independent biographical story of Superman. Although we have seen the story of Superman's death many times. But this work is still moving.
The master who opened up finally has a time of weakness. As the dad of DC screenwriters, the master wrote more stories than screenwriters wrote independently. This time, facing the Day of Destruction, it was finally not good enough. The setting of Doom Day is the super god-level destructive ability, and only Doom Day can highlight that Dachao's combat power is much higher than anyone in Zhenglian (speaking quietly except for the master!). Uncle 囧 is a bit regretful to be quickly eliminated, theoretically it can suppress the existence of Doomsday. But in order to keep the master and highlight the superpower, I also accepted this time. Anyway, I have to make soy sauce every time. WW, as the existence of physical combat power second only to Dachao, is acceptable for 50 rounds of fighting against the Destruction Sun, but the Excalibur made by Vulcan was shattered in such a palm, which was a bit unexpected. Is the day of destruction stronger than the new gods?
Superman vs. Doomsday’s fight once again refreshed the new heights of DC animation movies, and the storytelling did a really good job. At the same time it was so cool, I could really feel the pain of Superman and the strength of the day of destruction. In the end, the ending of "Super Bat" is not as good as the original version. It is better to fall in Louise's arms. But the half-handicapped Superman's cloak hung in the ruins, which is absolutely praiseworthy.

The day of destruction with armor is still very emotional, a bit of the meaning of super little superman. And this time obviously learned a lot of lessons from "Super Bat". The ability and style are so handsome. It also makes this movie exciting.
The emotional line is not very brilliant. The 2007 version may be better. However, some subtle emotions of Superman are well captured. Whether it is to the public or to Louise revealing his secret identity.

I don't particularly like this ending. If there is enough time, it would be great to make two funerals like "Super Bat". And there are a lot of eggs in the next part. In the battle of the cloak, Xiaochao, Mechachao, and Steelman all showed up. The trouble shouldn't be the beginning of the next episode. It's absolutely impossible for everyone to stop silently mourning for Superman for a moment. The method of generating the Fortress of Solitude should be replaced by the original crystal insert.
In general, I was very moved after reading it. It once again evoked my first time watching the old "Superman" movie. Why we call him Superman is because he is better than others. Why do we believe in Superman, because he can always give us hope in the most difficult times.
It would be great if this animation was changed to the movie version of "Zhenglian" or "Super Bat" (it's not that I don't like BVS, but it is too much to let the master kill and Martha's stalk). Looking forward to the battle of the cloak.
