General plot

The movie tells the story of a newly graduated college student who was about to start his new life in New York, but was messed up by the arrival of his father's mistress. The boy tried to stop his father's indecent love, but he was caught in the arms of this woman. But because of the company of a wise and poisonous neighbor and his own enlightenment, he finally learned what love is. This is a very general plot, and at the same time, it is a movie with no deep appeal. It is meaningless. I don’t know what the director wants to express and what the soul of this movie is. The protagonist said that New York has no soul anymore, the movie itself Isn't it?
