It was quite depressing after reading it, as if in Bruno's life, all the weak and powerless moments in each of our lives were condensed. A strong and active person may hope to explain the life of such a weak person by analyzing his growth background and character formation, in the hope that the weak group can be self-reliant and, like ordinary people, can survive in the world at any rate and avoid such a tragedy. However, this kind of thinking has no practical effect other than indiscriminate sympathy. The weak will always exist, which is the norm in society. Even the strong occasionally fall into a Bruno-like helpless situation, shackled by material or spirit, and breathless. Therefore, Bruno does not need sympathy. He is living in his failed life, and it may be the greatest significance to cause more mediocre lives.
