I was attracted by the style of comics when I first encountered Slaughter City a few years ago (Izumi is very handsome XD), but unfortunately, the large number of erotic parts at the beginning of the comic did not give me a good impression, so the fate is not there yet, I see In addition to the procrastination of the plot and the original ending animation, in the past few years, the labels I gave to GANTZ were almost derogatory, such as "secondary", "ridiculous", "intentional", "character brain damage", etc.
(I have also seen the live version later Unfortunately, the live-action version has a very low degree of restoration of the original, and the adaptation is also very off-line, full of absurd B-level film flavor)
Even a few years later, I started to flip the comics on a whim, and I didn’t look forward to it quickly.
Then the light of this work finally appeared in front of me. The old man, Lao Ao, has his talents after all. As the plot deepens, and across the opening of the story, I was infected by the unique concept of the GANTZ world (initially with Izumi, whose face attracted me, died as a turning point, and GANTZ’s human touch began to grow stronger), and the Osaka story of GANTZ:O should be the first climax of the work.
Looking forward to GANTZ: O, good works will be discovered after all.
