This Hungarian director’s film is not the first time I have watched it. I feel that he has always been on the line of art films, coupled with a strong experimental style, such as "Joan of Arc" which is a mixture of opera and thriller. The same is true for this new film that won an award in a focus unit in Cannes last year. It uses the model of a commercial film to tell a fable. The literary accent and the rhythm of the commercial film are intertwined. It is humorous and weird. The grafting of multiple film types is really not a success. Finally, pay tribute. Suspense master Hitchcock's dog group scene can be regarded as a more shocking scene. The two cues of dogs and humans are not handled well enough. Obviously, the shots of dogs are much better. The live-action actors are disappointing. I don't know if it is a script problem or something else. The dull acting skills and unprepared emotional transitions make The story became unconvincing. With animals as the protagonist and similar themes, Hollywood's "Rise of the Apes" is much better.
