至于Mr. Darcy，Colin Firth的演绎实在是无可匹敌的，他严肃，骄傲，贵族，新版里的Matthew MacFadyen却过于柔软了；我后来读BJ单身日记续集《The Edge of Reason》，有一段BJ采访Colin Firth，(当然这是因为Colin Firth主演这部影片作者故意添加的桥段)，BJ一直纠缠Colin Firth问他拍在彭伯利宽衣解带跃入池塘的那场戏，我会意微笑，看来全世界的花痴都是一样的；还有次，在墨尔本Flinders地铁站等晚点的车，我跟一个洋mm聊了半小时，起因就是不知道谁提到了Colin Firth和他的Pride and Prejudice，足见此部经典。Colin Firth太成功了，以至于他本人都难以跳出Mr. Darcy的形象惯性，甚至在无数专访中请求大家把他和Mr. Darcy分开来看待；然而事实就是事实，他的又一成功之作《BJ单身日记》其实就是Mr. Darcy的现代版本！
In the scene, Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle are looking at each other in Pemberley, which is much more ambiguous and delicate than Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen in the rain; Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen may be more like a pair of lovers in love. However, Colin Firth's seriousness and reticence compared with Jennifer Ehle's vivacity and wisdom, really accord with the original meaning.
When I first saw Pemberly, Jennifer Ehle still smiled calmly under the amazement, only slightly sad. She had a chance to become this beautiful mistress; when she came to Keira Knightley, she became a madman. A wry smile and tears in her eyes, this is not Miss Elizabeth Bennet's magnanimity!
Hey, the classics are not easy to be subverted! Ten years will not work!
