Too many elements make it a hodgepodge

Watching the whole film quietly, there is no interesting point unexpectedly. It may be related to the political environment. The British may feel that their prime minister has committed an immoral thing, which is a very important matter, so the film as a whole tends to be suspenseful and depressing. But I always feel that there are some differences between the four, saying that there is basically no suspense, the kind that is very simple, at best, it is a politically balanced discussion. Other interspersed elements, affectionate attention, old man’s depression and life interest, but make me feel dull, and many places even make me somewhat unreasonable.
It makes people feel like a waste of time watching.
