The film word does not describe the cruelty of war too much. The main reason is Lore's naivety and ignorance to mature and grow up, during which Thomas taught her a lot. Flowers, grass, lakes, dandelions, small trees, and the love between boys and girls that appear from time to time give people a fresh feeling. The symptoms of Lore's lips due to lack of water, the red spots in Thomas's scum, the cry of the baby, the squabbles of the two younger brothers, and the younger sister running with the baby, these details are very good.
