Ang Lee made war films like literary films, with a little freshness in the pictures. The blue sky, white clouds, lush, vast and magnificent southern pictures really don't look like watching a war film. The music is also well matched. However, when the civil war is always uncomfortable, there are also internal struggles among Southerners. It is no wonder that Americans don't like to see this film so much. Luo Luo was very touching when reading the mother's letter. There is an echo before and after the film, from wedding to wedding. The grudge between Rod and Anderson is the same as the grudge between the North and the South. "There is nothing right or wrong, that's how it is." Rod did not shoot in the end, and everyone was relieved. Since there is nothing right or wrong, why shoot just for anger. Now that we look directly at the war, it is a kind of progress.
Toby Maguire is really Ang Lee’s "favorite". From the little boy in "Ice Storm" to the show in "Riding with the Devil", this shy smiling and soft-hearted child grew up someday later For Spider-Man, his spring is here. Anderson, who has always been the enemy of Rhodes, is played by Jonathan Les Meyers. This handsome guy is obviously gloomy. In "The End of the Game", he eats a bowl and watches the pot blindly climb into the upper class speculators. It's his true color acting, and his temperament is too good.
