unique perspective

I rarely see movies from Arab countries, let alone look at the conflict between Islam and modern society from such a unique perspective. Of course, American anti-terrorism and Muslim anti-Western ideas are indispensable in the film. However, it was through an erroneous act of arresting terrorists that the New York policeman who was killed by the terrorists and the Turkish policeman who opposed Western politics finally became friends. And the wronged Haji is the embodiment of the core value of the whole film. The most pious Muslim with a deep understanding of transactions, he not only infected the police who arrested him with his love, but also infected real terrorists in prison, and finally he was willing to pay for his brother’s mistakes in his hometown. The cost of life came to quell disputes. In fact, what the director really wants to tell us is what Haji’s mother said: Whether Christians or Muslims are equal before God. It is a pity that neither the terrorists nor the Western governments can truly understand this.
