I wanted to write it after the movie was released, but after watching the final version of the trailer, I already said that sentence, so I wrote it first. In the trailer, Takeshi Kaneshiro said to Yen Zidan: You mean the reason why a murderer became a murderer is not his "self." He was only born in a family of killings. He killed people and all beings are guilty. Everyone is an accomplice.
When I was watching the script, I was curious about what Chen Kexin would make of such a script. The whole tone of the script is small and fresh. It takes place in a simple village, and the dialogue is familiar. Only when it comes to "accomplices", it is a bit too philosophical and sloppy, and it is out of the context of the countryside at that time. Later, the movie was made into a heavy taste, which was also a surprise to me.
A few months after reading the script, the Yaojiaxin case happened. Everyone is eager to express their opinions, because I feel that I can’t say it well, so I don’t talk about it with others. This case is of course a criminal case beyond ordinary people's understanding. I silently agree with his sentence of death. But I won’t be like those people triumphantly yelling on one side: "Kill him. Kill him well." At that time I always thought of this movie. I think when this movie is released, how many people can understand it. What does this movie want to say? The ending of the story is very violent and miserable. There are innocent people, people who want to get better but are hard to return. Some people live in silence with sins, while most of them don't know the sins. Behind every crime, you and I are all complicit. We can fight injustice, but we are not qualified to stand on the moral high ground and point the country. This society has become what it is now, with such sad and terrible crimes happening, and you and I are all accomplices.
Every time I think of what Gao Xiaosong said at the time: "Yao Jiaxin will be killed in the street, and he will be paid a few dollars if he is not dead." "Since the students of Xi'an Conservatory of Music collectively support Yao Jiaxin, the music industry will not accept them in the future." And what Kong Qingdong said: "It's a serious law to run to the end of the world to copy you all over the house" and "(Yao Jia Xin) looks like a murderer." Whenever I see someone applauding these words, I feel sad for the opinion leaders of this era. This era has become so tyrannical, you also have a share of credit. You have never been too lazy to think, nor too lazy to be compassionate. You only know that irresponsible nonsense, your brain is basically calcified.
Many years ago, at Nanjing Taipingmen, a family of German executives was killed. This bloody incident still remains in people's memory. But few people know the following story: The mother of a German executive, together with many Germans in Nanjing, donated educational funds to the murderer’s hometown to improve the local education level and give more opportunities for children from poor families to go to school. Why do you want to do this? The mother said: Those murderers were not born wicked. Because of lack of education and difficult survival, they committed such evil.
Try to understand the occurrence of evil. It's harder and harder to punish evil than being in a crowd.
There is also a dialogue in the trailer, which can also explain why I also agree with the death sentence of Yao Jiaxin. In the conversation, someone asked Takeshi Kaneshiro: “Then why didn’t you let him go? He wanted to be a good person.” Takeshi Kaneshiro said: “We didn’t arrest people to make him a good person. It’s for the law.”
Now the Sri Lankan is dead and everyone is already dead. I almost forgot about it. I dare to talk a little bit about this, but it’s still not good, so let’s study slowly.
