In the 16th century, Japan was brutally chaotic. Robbers went down the mountain to grab the peasants’ rations. The harvest time came again. They came up with rice to ask the samurai to defend the village. . The samurai went to Dagui to earn a lifetime fame, how could he casually use his life for the peasants? Fortunately, the farmers found seven warriors with extraordinary personalities. Farmers and warriors formed a team, and after hard struggle, the forty robbers were killed without leaving a piece of armour. At the end of the film, the farmers began to cultivate in the new year with singing, and the three surviving warriors embarked on a new path.
Black and white film. The most wonderful thing is the portrayal of the characters. Seven samurai and three or four main farmers, after reading them, close their eyes, and all of them are alive and well in their minds. Humans have shortcomings and strengths. This is not surprising. What is strange is that they are all so alive, just like real people-to be as vigorous as real people. It is not easy!
For example, the strongest samurai in the film, with static braking, has won the first rank of the admiral among millions of troops. At the end of the battle, he let the concealed gun hit the key. He turned around and looked for the robber's invisibility, while holding the knife forward and throwing it out. Helplessly, the knife was weak, and fell to the ground halfway through. The man leaned over and fell into the mud puddle and died. The Chinese can't make up the way to die like that, and Hollywood can't think of it.
"Who is a passerby, the flower is the master". Kurosawa became a master of the generation, and he probably took this meaning, letting life itself be the master, even if it is fleeting.
