Who Dune It?

I was busy with my thesis some time ago. I finally got free yesterday. After taking a shower, I watched the suspense story episode on PPS. This story is quite interesting. A detective novelist went to heaven after his death. The "archangel" who managed the angel told him that he was murdered by others. The novelist questioned what the archangel said, because at the moment of death, he I thought I had passed away from a heart attack.

The "Archangel" promised to give the novelist a few hours to find out the murderer himself, so the novelist returned to Yangjian. When he found that everyone around him was suspicious, he had already been separated from him. The time for someone else to kill is near...

Finally the murderer proposed to turn off the lights, (actually one-half of the murderer), the novelist was finally killed by the murderer in the dark...The

novelist did not know who he was killed until he returned to heaven. The ones who killed were actually his wife and his wife's lover. In the end, after the death of the novelist, the police found out the murderer, and his wife and his wife’s lover were punished.

Why is this story interesting? I have been silently thinking that the era of black and white movies cannot produce such a colorful story... However, this is the first time that the story of this heaven has been presented to me in black and white. It is very special, cute, and evil...

Alfred Hitchcock Presents quotes

  • [Hitchcock arrives for his introduction dressed in a safari outfit and pith helmet]

Alfred Hitchcock - Host: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to darkest Hollywood. Night brings a stillness to the jungle. It is so quiet, you can hear a name drop. The savage beasts have already begun gathering at the water holes to quench their thirst. Now one should be especially alert. The vicious table-hopper is on the prowl, and the spotted back-biter may lurk behind a potted palm. To take me through this most savage of lands, I have hired a native guide.

[He snaps his fingers. An old man joins him, wearing a billboard sign that reads, "Maps of the Movie Stars' Homes - For Sale"]

Alfred Hitchcock - Host: He claims to know where I can find the big ones.

  • Alfred Hitchcock - Host: [introducing commercials at the end of the show] I hope you have enjoyed our program. Seeing a murder on television can help to work off one's antagonisms. And if you haven't any antagonisms, these commercials will give you some.
