Beautiful brave

If everything is doomed, if you knew the ending, what would you do?
Is it hopeful that nothing has happened, to avoid it before it all starts?
Or go with the flow, like never knowing the future?
Or, even if you know that everything is destined to be sad, still can't bear to let go, or even work harder?

The little couple in the movie are separated from life and death in the end.
I didn't understand the director's intention.
Isn't it a life piece that summarizes the so-called "truth" from ordinary life? Don't have to be so tragic, right?
Until I saw the following dialogue:

Either God is dead, or he despised us.
You don't really think so, do you?
Maybe.
,,,,,,
she knows everything that is going to happen. ,,,,, she believed it. She did not leave. She did not hide. She found a house for them, she stopped birth control and married him. God does not hate us. If he is so, why make our hearts so brave and strong.

I also think of the love warrior inside, that I met the wrong person every time, but I still don’t want to believe that "love is just a trick, a trick that nature plays with us humans, but it allows us to have a few more children", or believe" Love means everything, is the only true meaning, so that we can face this crazy dream" guy.
I think of every guy around me who talks about the world without love at all, and keeps moths to the fire.
I think of every guy around me who swears to find someone who can be a cow and a horse for himself, turns around and only remembers to jump up and down to do a lot of things, just to make the people he likes happy.
I think of everyone around me who complains about their dissatisfaction with each other, but never wants to leave.
,,,,,,,

I was nailed to the seat by that line.

How can you be so brave.

Feast of Love quotes

  • [talking to Oscar]

Chloe Barlow: Most junkies, you know, even if they never use again, it doesn't matter. It's too late. They're just gone, you know, permanent zombies. But then there's junkies where all the horrible places they've been, all the horrible shit they've done, the fact that they come back from it makes them better people than if they'd never used in the first place.

    [pause]

    Chloe Barlow: That's you.

  • Harry Stevenson: We have our illusions about people, our hopes and they can blind us, but the end is always right there in the beginning.
