The splendor and sadness of man dance

I don't like beautiful movies, but I don't resist. I admit it was because Kevin Spacey watched this movie. This has to ask God why the man named Kevin is very good at acting (also likes the second-tier Bacon). His performance is a story, and his expression is a telling.
The life of an artist is a cliché frame. But this is the difference between American and European films. Even if a history of growth is full of sadness and cruelty, its process is bound to be tender. In European movies, under the bright and colorful colors, there is an icy blood, and the crazy dance inspired by the rain becomes a kind of hereditary tragedy.
The same rhythm is pervading the streets, and the dance steps are still circulating. Flash lens, black and white film, golden microphone, old phonograph-similar props.
The same romantic nerves of love at first sight, the subsequent chasing of mad bees and butterflies, the
same experience of a blurred life experience, abandonment and sacrifice, and the indifference to the wife and children’s family is the destined price...the
same is the fluttering dance step in the Broadway tone , Sometimes noisy and sometimes quiet.
But in the beautiful film, the family life full of strife and conflict behind Guanghua can also be resolved after a period of joyous JAZZ.
The suave protagonist and the sparsely prosperous old shadow in the mirror are on the bright stage. Which one is the real self? Perhaps only a lonely trip with no one can give the answer. The fluent JAZZ dance steps under the transparent and hazy spotlight, the drums sound, and the loneliness only goes out.
Indeed, I don't like beautiful movies, but in the face of tender and cruel choices, people are ultimately unavoidable, and have nothing to do with aesthetics. Besides, the protagonist is just music.
Yes, I found some similarities between the two films at the beginning, and the stream gradually merged, but at the end, it became clear: the same time disorder under the black and white shadows, the singing is graceful, and the dance moves gracefully. If they are similar, accidental coincidence or imitation plagiarism? Obviously, this is not important.
What I care about is not the twists and turns of the story, or the bizarre narration, or whispering to the mirror, but the music that is still endless through the curtain of time, and the gorgeousness and sadness that are submerged in the same dance steps.

Very good music, all the details come from the comparison with "Hua Yang Man Dance".

Beyond the Sea quotes

  • Steve Blauner: [interrupting a tender moment] Bobby! Whoa, sorry. But I was right about the war picture. Get your speech ready 'cause as soon as this tour is over, you're going to the Oscars, pal. You just got nominated.

Bobby Darin: [shouting] Halleujah! Yes! Yes!

    Sandra Dee: Oh, Christ.

  • Mary Duvan: [after Sandra and Bobby get engaged] I wished you had concentrated more on Rock Hudson.

Sandra Dee: Rock Hudson is a very nice man, Mother, but I'm not in love with him.

Mary Duvan: He still would have made a better husband than that "BOBBY DARIN"!
