What does this movie want to show?, Reivew on Summer Storm

I want to know the inner meaning of every movie I watch, especially gay movies. I can’t accept that gay movies don’t have a central idea. Is this movie purely to show a lot of flat gay groups? The second place story? The theme is too loose, so I can't grasp it at all.
