Other TV shows are like movies, our movies are like TV shows

I just found out that the scores of several recent films are very low. It seems that I either like self-abuse or the taste is really problematic. In fact, it is not like this, there are still many good films, but I am too lazy to write. Only those who are so bad that I have the strength to hum.

A good movie I watched recently, "The Andromeda Strain" (The Andromeda Strain) is a mini-series. The original novel was published in 1969, and it was translated very early in China (I don’t know if there is copyright or not). I have a 1980 Chinese version in my hand. The book was made into a movie in 1971, but I haven't seen it.

Compared with the original work, this miniseries has added a lot of clues and details in keeping with the times. Biological weapons, genetic mutations, government conspiracy theories, wormhole theory, nuclear explosions, environmental protection, energy crisis, news justice, etc. are all original works. What's not in the novel. Although there are some places that I feel a little bit ridiculous, but overall it is worth 4 stars.

It may be to meet the needs of the current audience. The wildfire team in the original book is all men, and two of them have become women here-of course, as usual, the male pig will be the last to overthrow the female pig.

The advantage of a 3-hour miniseries is that you can stuff countless things in. If you follow the pattern of the movie, it will be enough to make three parts. American dramas seem to like to do this kind of high-intensity rhythm stuff. No wonder it's not like what American audiences are used to. Our audience here can still watch the whole episode of two people talking in the room. They are really good audiences.

There is no disc, so download it. However, the current Chinese subtitles are not very good and may seem a bit confusing. Wait patiently.

As an evil spoiler party, the last thing I want to say is that the "single man hypothesis" is too nonsense, and the buddy finally died and didn't help at all.

Another thing I want to add is that the Yankees really love and hate China now. Even a broken TV series did not forget to smear China. Inside, there is a Korean stick (that is, the poor Korean boy in Lost) playing a bio-weapon expert who defected from China. He also recalled a short period of domestic scenes. The People's Liberation Army costume appeared to be OK, and the gun was almost meaningless. And I can't stand the Chinese inside who speaks weird, Cantonese Chinese.
