The story is adapted from the novel "Half Life" by Jonathan Raymond. It is co-adapted by Raymond and director Reichardt. It is set in Oregon in the 1920s. A western cook Cookie came to the wild west. Fortunately, I met King Lu, a Chinese immigrant who also came to look for opportunities. The two hit it off and started a business with a dairy cow. The 9th home game in Berlin. Expected too much, slightly disappointed. The entry point is good, you can feel a sincere simplicity, but the narrative is more personal, and contains a lot of the director's own thinking in it, and how much the audience can accept varies from person to person. The director has great potential. Overall, the film is one of the strong competitors for Jin Xiong this year.
