On How a Writer/Poet Created a Frankenstein

I recently watched "Mary Shelley", which is Elle's new film in 2017. I have always been looking forward to it, not only because of Elle's appearance, but also because of Mary Shelley, who is a writer I like very much. Her "Frankenstein" is a science fiction novel that I admire especially. She originally thought that her role would be one of the women or the self-reporter, but she wrote it from the perspective of a weirdo. From being held in the palm of her hand by her lover to being indifferent by her sister and Shelley at the same time, loneliness gave her space to grow, and independence allowed her to extract the time of Frankenstein from the perception of life. She turned thunder and lightning into her own heart. Amidst the thunder and lightning, she held the loneliest feast of her own. My poor comprehension ability made me think she was a science fiction ghost when I first finished reading the novel, but now I discovered that she is actually a great artist, lonely filling the lines in the book, eager to be loved and touched. But I did not read the helplessness and grief that was treated indifferently. After watching this movie, I think I have to read "Frankenstein" again.

This film probably tells about the years when Mary met Shelley. At first, because of the cynicism of her stepmother and the feudal thoughts of the family, she brought her step-sister to elope with Shelley. It was her who advocated free love with Shelley. Shelley’s debts were heavy and rainy nights escaped the debt and the death of her first child was her. Her sister was a little bit lascivious and she was the one who was ambiguous with Shelley. She was always thirsty for science and inspired to write. She is the one who sees her beloved being decadent due to the suicide of his ex-wife and forcing herself to struggle from the pain of losing a child is her, and she is the one who resolutely wrote the first sci-fi masterpiece after being chilled by her lover... Mary Shelley can be said to be a representative of independent and strong women, and one of the few women who fought for themselves in the traditional feudal era. She fell in love as soon as she saw Shelley. It can be said that she eloped with her a little irrationally. She gradually became independent in the boundless love and real life, and calmed down between the pain of losing her son and her decadent husband. , Rejected the favors of many of Shelley's friends, and her loyalty made Shelley, who also advocated the "freedom" of love (in fact, freshness), wake up and guard their own love and incredible life.

Although Elle is a little younger, the performance is still in place, and it can't be said to be perfect. After all, the transformation of child stars requires a process. I don’t need to say more about the face value, the eternal little fairy Elle~~ But Shelley’s face value is a bit hard to describe... In general, I still like this movie very much, and you can find it if you have time. . I also bought a book of Shelley’s bilingual version of poems to see how wonderful the sparks of the time collided with Shelley’s advanced ideas. I also want to read Mary's other books, this amazing woman! ~
