"L'incredibile storia dell'isola delle rose" is translated into "The Incredible History of Rose Island". Although the translation is a bit lengthy, it is fairly accurate. This film is based on a true story and is really Incredible. Engineer Giorgio built his own rose island out of Italian territorial waters out of steel and applied to the United Nations Council of Europe for independence. It was eventually blown up by the Italian government.
I find it interesting that Giorgio pursues the concept of absolute freedom, but in fact, he doesn't like the system on the land now. He creates a system by himself, isn't he trapped in a new system? So maybe this is the reason why his rose island is lovely. After all, it has not really moved towards independence, and has not formed a rigorous top-down governance system.
Therefore, it seems that the residents on the island are free to come and go. Issuing stamps is interesting. Giorgio's future plans will not be related to heaviness.
The meaning behind the independence in Giorgio's eyes is essentially different from the independence in the eyes of Italian officials. What Giorgio defends is not the same thing as what the officials attacked.
So what the shells destroyed may be a small island that has shaken centralized power, or it may be just a DIY work like Giorgio's self-made cars in the past.
Finally Gabriella said to Giorgio: The important thing is to change the world, or at least have worked hard. Yes, at least there are like-minded lovers and friends in this world. No matter how bad the world is, it won't be bad.
In the true story, Gabriella and Giorgio became husband and wife.
