A promised place beyond the cloud

I tried to tell this story from some aspects, but facing the computer, I couldn't type on the keyboard. Therefore, I only list the deepest memories in my mind, to recall the cloud at that time, and the appointment with the teenagers.

The world
—the future landscape

is no different from the present world, even in the future.
Crowded subway stations, monorail trains moving slowly, dilapidated factories, quiet country roads, and endless wheat fields and grasslands.
At the beginning of the movie, Xin Haicheng used his lens to tell us this.
People have never changed.

The tower
-the beginning and the end are due

to the earth against the setting sun. The warm wind blows through the tower and the tall tower standing in the distance is more eye-catching with the light of sunset. Fujisawa and Shirakawa, looking at the tower with Sayuri, made an agreement to fly there together.
The place that the teenagers have been longing for, carries their initial dreams and most precious promises.
However, the young they didn't know that the towering tower they wanted to go to was nothing but a haha mirror built by humans to understand the "possible" future.
This “mirror” that assists humans in peeping into God’s dreams has acquiesced to this behavior of humans, but the price of peeking into the future is that mankind must pay for the present.
How much future you have to see, how much present this silent white tower will consume.
To trade the real present for the "possible" future is the price of peeking at God's dreams.
At this time, the maker of the tower thought that once the haha mirror was far away from the eyes, what appeared in front of him was only a blurry picture. But the light that passed through the lens could burn a flame, but what the tower burned was the whole earth.
But it was also it that gave the teenager and the girl a time to play side by side, and with the promise of each other, it also quietly snatched Sayori away from them.
When the designer of the tower, Exon Zikno, completed this masterpiece, he realized that God would never let people peek at his dreams.
The door to the future has not yet been opened, and the current life will be violated first.
But how can I have the heart to ruin my life's hard work?
So, let God’s dreams pass through this tower and enter the dreams of others!
This other person is her granddaughter, Sawadu Sayuri.
The unknown swallows the world, and the girl's dream swallows the unknown. As long as she sleeps quietly, nothing will change. But no one has ever thought about the mistakes made by an adult, why should a young girl bear it?
The tower still stands silently on this piece of land, with his towering body, looking down at all the human beings, like a god.

Owada Station
-He is insignificant, but it makes me hard to forget

that it was after watching the movie. In a magazine, I found the article-"Owada Station".
I clearly remember the content of the article, and I also clearly remember the picture attached to that article, which is exactly the same station as in the movie.
The station is a bit crude and unmarked.
I don't know how many such stations are in Japan, and I don't know if this is just a coincidence. However, at that moment, in my memory, the platform where the girl left was called Owada.
In the picture, I seem to see Sayuri who bid farewell to Fujisawa, leaving the station briskly, walking on the way home, with both feet on the solid ground, the violin swaying gently on her thin back, the whole person, full of Brought to life.
That station, at that time, was deeply imprinted in my mind.
But then I learned that that station is called a small and medium country. That picture is just an exotic product.

Commitment
-how many of us can stick to our commitment? Even if he is minimal,

we always make promises easily. Therefore, it will be easier to abandon promises.
When Sayuri left quietly, the promise became empty. The dream that is about to be achieved is entangled with the promises of the past, making them unable to distinguish each other.
They easily chose to let go, and chose to leave.
The white plane, Velaciela, which was devoted to all their efforts and time, was also shelved in the abandoned factory where they had struggled day and night.
But even if you leave and come to far away Tokyo, you can still see the tower in the concrete castle lined with tall buildings. In the dream, I can still remember the girl's face.
Loneliness is eroding his body, even the laughing classmates can't let him show off, even the bustling crowd can't crowd out his loneliness.
Therefore, he would often play the tunes that girls had played for them, but the familiar sound of the violin would only make himself more lonely.
He always chased the girl who appeared in his dreams from time to time, but no matter how he ran, he couldn't see the other side's back clearly.
It wasn't until the letter arrived three years late that Fujisawa woke up from the trance reality.
If you leave, you will forget. I thought time would really dilute everything. But when he saw Sayuri’s letter, Fujisawa realized that his love and miss for her had not faded because of time. The desire to see her is stronger.
It took three years for Fujisawa Hiroshi to wake up his sleeping heart.
The determination to wake up late is connected to the girl's dream. In the dream, meeting her, the agreement again, will surely come true.
"I want to take you to that tower, sure." The

girl's dream

-she staggered on the rails that took him away, as if hoping to feel the other side's body temperature from above, the

girl saw the future. It's just a broken tower and a lonely figure in my dream.
Keep dreaming, keep hoping to wake up. Because in reality, there is something she has not had time to say in the future.
So, always looking, always waiting, longing to leave, longing to wake up.
Enduring the loneliness that invades the body and mind, alone, in a small and wide world, walking hesitantly or waiting helplessly.
Under the empty sky, who would she think of?
Is it the stubborn and shy boy, or the original promise?
In the dream, the dim sky shrouded the dilapidated and twisted towers. It's just that inadvertently, the white plane flying over her head has been deeply burned in the bottom of her heart.
Velaciela.
At that moment, the free-flying plane passed all the future.

Remember
-the girl wakes up, the dream of the future also wakes up together.

Are you trying to save Sayuri or the world?
Shirakawa's gun raised Fujisawa's head and asked.
Sayuri.
When I saw this, I couldn't help answering it.
The story inevitably goes around such a topic that all similar stories will discuss, but every detail in the film tells us that such a question full of contradictions is just a question here.
Therefore, we don't need to consider whether we want the world or a moment of love.
Because Shirakawa's subsequent actions were exactly the same as what I said.
Sayuri.
In other words, it was an agreement at that time.
"In my dream, I saw a white plane flying in the sky."
Shirakawa, who was still a middle school student, looked at Sayuri who was sitting on the opposite side, and listened to the dream state she described, completely unable to hear the hustle and bustle around him.
Do you remember our reservation?
If you forget, remember it again!
When Shirakawa Takuya punched Hiroki in the face, he had personally picked up what he had put down many years ago.

Origin
——Since the tower made you sleep, come to him, return the dream to him

as Velaciela passes through the hazy sky and sea, crosses the battlefield rendered by scarlet blood, and the clear sky appears in front of you.
Appearing at the same time, there is also a high tower on the side of the sky under this vast sky.
When Velaciela carried Hiroki and Sayuri slowly across the tower in reality, the tower in the dream gradually disappeared.
The determination of the two embraced tightly under the blue sky.
Therefore, when Hiroki said the phrase "Welcome Back" that he had expected before waking up to Sayuri, the touch still spread to every cell of me.
And the missile that was launched immediately caused this seemingly indestructible tower to collapse instantly.
Everything that entangled him finally came to an end.
The original agreement has been fulfilled, but Sayori's tears also told Hiroki that they could no longer find the place they had been obsessed with and promised. However, we can only continue on the road and continue to live if we abandon something.
Because the future life will carry all our previous dreams and promises.

Written at the back:
When writing these two articles, I discovered that the two animations are inextricably linked. They are also separated in two worlds, and they are also persistently seeking each other, "Voice of the Stars" and "Clouds". "In the details, they seem to be so similar, but if it weren't for my bit of memories, I might never have discovered how similar the two are.
If "Voice of the Stars" is a story about distance and longing, then "Cloud" is a story about the growth of young people.
Perhaps this is the reason why the two will move people differently.
In the story of "Cloud", dreams, friendship, and love all gradually grow and transform in the story, but in this constant transformation, the hearts of the teenagers have not changed at all.
But no matter what you and I feel, what you gain is all moved.
