Antoine's love life sketches

Who would have thought that I was a member of iQiyi because I wanted to watch this movie?

Ever since I read Truffaut's script, I've always wanted to watch this third part of Antoine's growth. Not only because I indulged and admired Truffaut's humanity and works, but also obsessed with the peak appearance and unique temperament "Antoine" , I can't stop the taste of old Paris and autumn.

Very different from "Four Hundred Strikes", this is a relaxed and funny love story. Some sections are really humorous. For example, the owner of a shoe store puts Antoine in the store and puts the shoe box in a mess. Antoine said, "It's great, great, great," and he really laughed.

Antoine, who rebelled against rebellion as a child, grew up as an adult who was passionate about love but hastily at work. His hormones in love are nowhere to be placed. There are spiritual and physical, because this is overflowing. Hormones feel confused and out of control. He was expelled from the army because he was said to be unsuitable for a soldier; he finally found a job at the hotel reception desk and was fired because he opened the door to the husband who caught the rape; by chance, he became a private detective, but he was cold thinking because of tracking the target. The girl who was chasing lost her target because she called her, and fell in love with a married woman during the investigation. . . Taking the student trend as the background reflects the confusion of young French people in that era under the double attack of social trends and self-growth.

Truffaut does not pursue art and innovation in this film, but just wants to tell an interesting and ups and downs story. Many times he put the camera there quietly, sometimes outside the door or outside the window, where we, as spectators, are placed there to see how the characters respond. I can realize that a movie is built around an actor. With the temperament and humanity of an actor, I can think about what story will happen to him.

PS. It turned out that Paris used to send letters like this, which is very interesting.

Stolen Kisses quotes

  • Georges Tabard: Do you speak English, Antoine?

Antoine Doinel: I'm learning from records, but it's not easy.

Georges Tabard: Records are a joke. There's only one way to learn: in bed with an English girl. It's time you learned. I learned with an Australian girl while her husband was at work painting houses.

    Fabienne Tabard: Like Hitler.

Georges Tabard: Don't ever say Hitler was a housepainter. That's slander. Hitler painted landscapes.
