The plot is quite interesting. Vigo's grasp of the progress of the plot and the changes in the character's situation has a similar feeling to that of Hou Mai, and it makes you accept some changes in subtlety. While telling the story, it also depicts a lot of the humanities and customs of the time in France, which feels soothing.
A wonderful movie.
