After watching Fleabag, I followed the vines to find this drama, and after watching it, I took a long breath: Genius is not achieved overnight, there are also times when greatness is like a filthy editor. But the progress of genius is rapid, Crashing is only half a year ahead of Fleabag, the latter's subtlety is beyond the reach of the former.
As a diehard fan, I look for the shadow of Fleabag every second of watching Crashing. The clues also make me happy, as if I have found a small tacit understanding with Phoebe. Slow update:
1. Kate and Fleabag’s sisters are too similar, successful career, anxiety, sex life is not as expected
2. The shelf/bulb that breaks at every turn is exactly the same as the painting that falls at every turn in Fleabag
3. Sam invited Lulu to live in the vacant house, gave her a roll of toilet paper and said it was a gift, and said that he wanted to be optimistic, which reminded me of the plot of Fleabag taking toilet paper from her sister's house.
4. Lulu accidentally vomited in the curry, but Kate ate it without knowing it and said it was OK. This plot is used in Fleabag in a different way: the hostess farts in the elevator, and unknowing passers-by say "smells delicious" after smelling it.
