Educational film without merit

The movie begins with a bland, but also ends with a bland.

In the same type of film, the performance is mediocre, no work is done.

Cam, played by Chloe Moritz, was found out as gay by her boyfriend at the dance. Her family sent her to a gay treatment center for treatment. The story unfolds from Cam's perspective.

Cam meets all kinds of peers in this treatment center. The people treated here seem to have accepted the fact that homosexuality is a sin, but Cam faces doubts more of confusion than recognition. She even refused to analyze herself, and refused to look back on her feelings.

The director seems to want to balance the supporting role and the protagonist in the plot portrayal, but from the perspective of the overall plot line, such a technique seems very unlucky. Neither the characters of the supporting roles are clearly set up, nor the psychological changes of the protagonist are clarified, which makes the whole movie less conflict.

The only scene where the plot has a turning point and a climax is a scene in which Cam's roommate Erin can't restrain his same-sex impulse, and the other is a scene in which Mark's emotional breakdown at the end of the movie, but there is always a feeling that the emotions are not superficial.

In fact, there are not few films describing the same-sex confusion that boys and girls encountered when they grew up. This film can only be said to be mediocre and bright.

PS: Quinn's Yan is really good-looking! ! !

    Erin: Sorry, it's just me.

    Cameron: What the fuck?

Erin: You were making a lot of noise.

    Cameron: Sorry, I'm fine.

Erin: What were you dreaming about?

Cameron: I don't remember, okay? It was scary.

    Erin: No, it wasn't.

Cameron: Yes, it was. How would you know, you weren't dreaming with me.

Erin: I was listening to you, and those weren't scared noises.

Cameron: It was, this is ridiculous; I'm going back to bed.

Erin: [leans in closer] I heard you.

    Cameron: I don't car...

[Erin kisses her. Cameron sits up, they embrace and make-out]
