I revisited the first part and then watched the second part. One word: "bad".
I all doubt whether it is the same series of movies, and how it feels so far apart. I searched it, and it turns out that the directors are different, and all the actors have been changed.
The plot is not just about fighting bugs, it has evolved to the point where bugs invade the human body to control people. Except for a few headshots that were slightly frightening, the others felt funny.
In the latter scene, the hero and heroine chased the general and encountered other infected teammates in the corridor, the one holding the grenade in both hands. As if trying to make up the plot, the hero and heroine were unscathed after the blew.
The scene is also limited to one building, and the production cost can be imagined.
