It’s been a long time since everyone is looking forward to "Everybody Knows", not only because of Fahati who surprised me because of "A Farewell", but also because of the long-loved heroine Pan Pan, and the man and woman who formed Banya couples with her. husband. I've seen some videos that have been smashed before. Although they are suspicious, they are inevitably affected. Perhaps because of some reservations, I was slightly surprised after reading it. After all, Fahaati is still the same Fahaati, and his ability to portray the relationships between those subtle characters is equally fascinating.
I have to admit that it is no better than "A Farewell", but I personally feel that it is more interesting than "The Past" and "Salesman". It adds the most commercial suspense elements on the basis of Fahati's original best, which greatly improves the viewability of the film. In this film, Fahati once again demonstrated his deep exploration of the complex nature of human nature. Even in Spain far away from his hometown, the enthusiastic Spain, such discussions have never stopped.
In reality, the Banya Saopan and his wife became exes in the movie. They now have a happy life. Because of a wedding, the hostess who had been away from home for many years returned to this town with her daughter and son. This joyful and enthusiastic Spanish wedding was just decorating flowers on the cake. After a sudden rainstorm, the fact that their daughter was kidnapped extinguished their happiness and happiness, and also caused the secrets and contradictions that had been accumulated in everyone’s hearts. It was exposed piece by piece. In the process of retrieving her daughter, the seemingly harmonious family members began to suspicion each other, and the lives of the hero and heroine have also undergone irreversible changes. It is not spoiled.
My favorite scene should still be the very symbolic scene at the beginning of the movie: the camera follows the pigeon and flies into the church tower. The gears of the clock work closely together, and the gears of different sizes follow the laws of physics and have their own rhythms. This is a metaphor for the "acquaintance society". With the rotation of the gears, at the hour of the hour, the gears in turn drive the pendulum from small to large to sway, deceiving it as a sound. The bell alarmed the pigeon, and the pigeon fluttered its wings and broke free from the gap in the clock face. This almost covers the plot logic of the entire movie, and the ingenuity and ingenuity of the script lies here.
And Farhati's directorial skills are undoubted in every film, and so is "Everybody Knows". The seemingly calm story is actually undercurrents, the truth that slowly emerges in the whispering dialogue narrative, those subtle dialogues, smooth transitions, and the ability to portray characters that have never been disappointing. Just like the male protagonist had such a plot with his wife at the beginning of the story: the wife is trying on the wedding gown, and the male protagonist helps to pull the zipper. The male protagonist said that his wife has gained weight recently, but his wife responded happily: "Your eyes really never leave me." But in the second half of the film, when the male protagonist was kidnapped, he was exhausted, even though his wife was deliberately devastated. Dressing up, after returning home, the male lead didn't even want to look at her. This also laid the groundwork for the changes in the relationship between the two. In Fahadi's film, the relationship between each group of characters appears so believable but suspicious, unexpected and reasonable.
Those hypocritical, selfish, helpless, dark, complex and real human nature will always be the most fascinating part of Fahadi's works, and the same is true of "Everyone Knows". Fahati will always be that Fahati. He may not be able to please everyone, but he keeps those who like him immersed in it.
And Pan Pan, who confessed that the beauty is late but still beauty, almost bare face still can withstand the test of the lens. I will never forget the amazing and charming woman under the lens of Almodovar.
