Movie watching notes "Aftermath of the Air Crash"

The tone is very gentle, there is no big shocking scene, everything is shown with a plain narrative technique, it feels a bit like the British duel, but this movie pays more attention to emotions than the British duel, the whole movie It is supported by everyone’s emotions. I personally think it is a good movie worth calming down and savoring.

I feel that none of the characters in the film is right except Jacob’s son. The protagonist wants an apology, but he seems to be stunned. No one can stand up and give him what he wants, so he blindly follows the newspaper, The answer given by the reporter went to the so-called "murderer" for the answer, and finally made a big mistake.

And Jacob, who is defined as a murderer by the masses, personally feels that the fault is not entirely his. I don't understand the airline system. From an outsider's point of view, shouldn't the fault be the person who left his job and went to rest without permission? To put it more deeply, shouldn’t the airline with this kind of error be the fault? But Jacob was also evading his responsibilities. He dared not face the families of the victims, did not dare to defend his rights, and blindly obeyed the indifferent company arrangements, changed his name and changed his surname to hide. What's the point? Cowardly inaction.

I personally don’t like the female reporter very much. She was knocking on the door of the protagonist when she first came out. She knew that the protagonist’s family had just died and she knocked on the door suddenly. She felt very impolite and unsympathetic. At the address, she clearly suspected that the protagonist would do something wrong, so she let him go to find Jacob by himself, huh? What can I do with me? Don't you know that the protagonist in that state is dangerous? Disclosing other people's information casually, just because of your own subjective judgment, feel that the protagonist is pitiful? Please, life is not a trifling matter. I want to know if Jacob died, did she blame herself? It should be there. . .

In addition, there are many heart-wrenching places. This is really a standard melancholic movie. The truth of human nature is fully demonstrated, sad and sorrowful.

The only good news is that in the end, Jacob's son did not pull the trigger called revenge. This absurd farce that had cost countless lives ended. . .

The above are just personal opinions, purely personal notes, don’t spray if you don’t like it.

Aftermath quotes

  • Roman: Maybe I should spend less time at the cemetery. The only thing is that Nadiya and Olena are there. They can't leave. So I go there and visit them, because... they can't go anywhere. They can't...

  • Jake: You know, when I was a kid I had this little stuffed bear. His name was Ishmael.

    Christina: Ishmael?

    Jake: Yeah.

Christina: That's a weird name for a bear.

Jake: And when we took trips I always had to take him with me or I wouldn't be able to sleep. This went on 'til much, much later.

Christina: How much later? 'Til you were 24? 'Til you met me?

    Jake: I don't know.

Christina: You always say that you can't sleep without me.

    Jake: Yeah, that's true.

Christina: I just don't know what to think.

    Jake: What?

Christina: Is that all I am to you? Some lousy substitute for Ishmael?

Jake: Hey, being Ishmael's substitute is a big honor. I'd do anything for Ishmael.

Christina: Did you have sex with Ishmael?

    Christina: I'm late for work.
