Does art (movie is one of art) entertain the public or expose reality? This in itself is the extreme of the two divisions of art, and it is impossible to reconcile it. However, because ideological discourse is too tenacious, only great artists can touch a little reality. Lu Xun wrote Ah Q, but the real Ah Q would not read Lu Xun’s works. Human beings always need some artists to think and express like philosophers. Real artists are reflecting or criticizing, revealing the human nature of society and expressing their personal opinions. There are always some people who are promoting progress and exploring the future of mankind. I can’t let everyone watch "Huanzhu Gege" and "Pancake Man", let the artists shoot "Huanzhugege" and "Pancake Man".
