There are many movies of this type, including police, government, gangsters, and all kinds of unscrupulous people driven by interests. This movie made everything I wanted to say clearly, and the content was quite rich, but it felt quite satisfactory, with no highlights. Maybe it's because there are many such movies, and I have watched a lot before, so I don't know who is the first and who is the second. Just like Al Pacino’s other movie "Midnight Terror" gave me the same feeling. The cast is good, Al Pacino and John Cusack, John Cusack was really cute when he was young. But Al Pacino’s performance is really the same. At first, I read the comments and said that Al Pacino’s performance was not good. I thought I could see the highlights, but after watching it, I agreed with the comments. And I have never appreciated Al Pacino’s always explosive speeches. This kind of explosiveness is very suitable for some movies, such as "Scarface", but it is not suitable for others, "Scent of a Woman" The final speech, I think it was a bit too much, but it was not bad. But this movie really exposed the shortcomings of his performance. In the speech at the little boy’s funeral, no matter how exciting the content he said, he shouldn’t shout like that at the funeral. I feel that Al Pacino didn’t have a good grasp of this scene. In the movie, he shouted a few voices to express his characteristics. In fact, in "Stealing Fire", he and Robert De Niro played against him in the cafe. I still like his performance very much. It is calm and restrained, and he can completely control it.
The most taboo thing to watch a movie is to complete a task-based movie. The movie is directed at Al Pacino, perhaps because of the subject matter. When watching a movie, it really seems to be a task, so the analysis of the movie may not be in place.
