I have always been fascinated by cult and endless root movies. All the way south, Mulholland Road and Horror Cruises are the three best movies of this genre I have seen so far. All the way to the south through sin (sin) redemption and broadcasting (media), the whole story is covered, and then several split stories are stories of atonement for the past by different people in the same big background. The atmosphere rendering is mainly the "feeling of helplessness" and "feeling of nothingness" that are contrasted by radio and frivolous BGM.
Most of the stories in the whole story are set to happen at night (although most of the horror and suspense will take advantage of the dark ignorance), but there are several bright shots in it, such as story 1 (5), car restaurant, story 4 Tattoo shop, the room in Story 2 is a supplement to the fear of darkness.
Besides, most of these stories have a feature other than the atonement, that is, the name of the protagonist (related to the protagonist’s atonement) will be directly spoken by strangers, and then create a god (demon?) perspective. The omniscience of God (demon?) of the atonement and the doubts and fears in the heart of the atonement are further amplified.
The infinite root of story 1, the cult organization of story 2 (I feel that the connection with the main line is to promote the process of the heroine's order and atonement), the male protagonist of story 3 was directed by the phone to indirectly promote the death of the heroine of story 2 ( Although the heroine of Story 2 is mortal, she killed someone indirectly when she drove the phone while making a phone call.) In Story 4, the "devil" finally appeared, basically revealing the background of several stories. 5 echoes story 1 at the beginning and end.
However, the entities of the demons in Story 5 and Story 1 still make me feel a little bit of a drama... But on the other hand, one of the clues to the story is to make atonement under the urging of the demons, so it is impossible to substantiate the demons. Too much avoidance (not to mention having cult colors so that it is better to eat together?)
