The suffering and warmth of life

Because I love the movie "The Cramers", I found another film "Nobody's fool" by director Robert Benton, starring the famous Paul Newman.

The movie takes place in the northern town of Bath, New York. The whole town is covered with thick snow, quiet and cold. The film revolves around Paul Newman, a construction worker who was lame due to a work injury. It narrates a series of realities between him and other people in the town, yet reveals a warm story.

For example, a pocket watch that brings courage, a conversation with his son before entering prison, a conversation with a grandson hiding in the back compartment in a restaurant, a conversation with a simple and honest Rob on the threshold...

Every bit is the essence of life.

The time span of the real film is very short and it is all in winter, plus there is a feeling of old and nowhere to go, the whole look has a cold feeling, and it is good to watch in summer. Rub is really stupid.

The lonely and angry old man played by Paul Newman often has unspeakable sadness under his seemingly sturdy attitude towards life.
