With overwhelming condemnation on the Internet, as a fan who grew up watching Jackie Chan's (more appropriately called Uncle) action movies, all his views eventually turned into two words: distressed. To be honest, compared to Jackie Chan at the peak, "Escape from the Jedi" is indeed too ugly.
The plot promotes the lack of logic and the final reversal is without surprises.
