Those niche groups in the metropolis

The movie tells the life of a special group of people (is it a bit discriminatory). The story begins in the mutual aid association. Adam is a sex addict, but he has been quitting for five years. Accidentally met Phoebe at a party, and the two quickly fell in love with each other. Soon after the cohabitation, a normal phone call at night broke the relationship between the two people, and Phoebe began to suspect Adam. And Adam felt that Phoebe was too self-perceived. The breakup made Adam very sad, and he became addicted, playing airplanes, and calling prostitutes. When he returned home, he called Beiqi. Beiqi made a series of emotional outbursts that surprised Adam. Beiqi ran into the bathroom. Adam called Neil for help. The shellfish in the bathroom took a lot of medicine. Adam realized that he couldn't go on like this anymore. Adam finds Phoebe again.

Neal is an emergency room doctor and a sex addict. He likes to collect porn videos, secretly take pictures of skirts, and touch women's bodies. Neil was ordered by the court to join the mutual aid association, and Adam was Neil’s counselor, and Neil had been deceiving everyone at the beginning. When he thought everything was messed up, Titi from the Mutual Aid Society called Neal for help. Neil recklessly helped Titi in his own way, and the two became good friends. Share the joys in each other's lives and help each other to quit those bad habits.

Mike is a elder brother who has been abstaining from drinking for 15 years in the mutual aid association, and is the number one person in the mutual aid association. Is Adam's mentor. Mike's life was disrupted by his son who was rehabilitated from drugs. The son used his perseverance to detoxify for eight months, while Mike remained skeptical. Once Mike's wife could not find the painkiller, Mike suspected that his son had stolen it, and Mike fought with his son. It was later discovered that it was a misunderstanding. When Mike was shopping in the supermarket, he had to touch his bottom line when he wanted to buy alcohol. He was notified that his son was drinking and crashing. The couple rushed to the hospital. Mike apologized to his son. The son couldn't believe it.

The three stories are interspersed and interlaced with each other. The three men help each other. The special group in this group of cities needs space and needs care. Of course, we don't need to look at them with colored glasses, because they are also a group of normal people, people who work equally well.

    Mike: Sorry about the language.

Phoebe: That's okay. I accept your fucking apology.

  • Katie: [Phoebe cries] Hey, what's wrong?

Phoebe: I just think I'm worried about this whole addict thing, you know.

    Katie: Mmm-hmmm.

Phoebe: I mean I just... Do you ever worry that you'll be just humming along and then, he's just gonna veer off back into the darkness?

Katie: In my experience, the only way that I can do this is just to keep the focus on myself.

    Phoebe: Meaning?

Katie: Meaning... ummm... What about my side of the street? What are my issues that I have to deal with? After all, I picked an addict... Says something.
