It feels like this movie is like my favorite mistake when writing essays in middle school: the central idea is not clear.
It stands to reason that the whole film has many entry points: the noble Red Cross spirit; the small American hospital in remote areas; Turkey during World War I; cross-religious love; the bald doctor who missed his deceased wife; the suffering Armenian; the love triangle... etc.
It's a pity that the director seems to be reluctant to give up on every point, so I took a picture here and a scene there. The character creation lacks depth and the connection between the scenes is insufficient. In the end it became a pointless one, giving people the feeling of just reporting what happened in accordance with the passage of time.
It's a pity that the whole piece of soft natural scenery...
