"The New World" is a South Korean crime gang movie directed by Park Hoon-jung and starring Choi Min-sik, Hwang Jung-min, and Lee Jung-jae. The film tells a story about conspiracy and betrayal between the police, the undercover gangster and the gang boss. The film was released in South Korea on February 21, 2013.
"The New World" was once called the Korean version of "Infernal Affairs" by the Korean media, but it did not develop in two lines like "Infernal Affairs". There are also weaknesses in the character and plot development. Cui Minzhi played the role of Chief Jiang Jiang. too little. To be honest, I didn't expect anything to do with Infernal Affairs after reading it. There is no doubt that both films are gangster films, and the protagonists of the story are also undercover, but the overall tone of the two films is completely different. Infernal Affairs is obviously biased towards idealism, while New World is a realistic realist gangster film. In addition to Ding Qing's basic feelings for Li Zicheng, emotional factors are only the foil of reason.
I think this is a very exciting undercover gangster film. The ending is quite realistic. Undercovers are not necessarily just that way. Because undercover agents are also humans, as long as they are humans, in order to survive and face the oppression of fate, they will resist. This has nothing to do with justice or not, this is true human nature.

Sony Pictures really has eyesight. I discovered this gold remake so soon. This Korean original is a noir film that follows the line of literary and artistic films. If the US version lets this undercover story that uses black and black to torture the bottom line of human loyalty to take the line of commercial films , It is bound to be entertaining and enjoyable, and it can be a literary and commercial cutting-edge product. It's a bonus to listen to Jinglei's play mode in a silent place. It is implicit and introverted and left blank. This is called editing and worrying. ★★★★

South Korea, whether it is the police or the gang, don't know how to use a shredder?
