I was expecting to watch a thriller with some spy war style, but I was disappointed. Except for the killing of three money laundering experts at the beginning, the whole film didn’t even have a decent shootout scene. As for the thrills, let alone the white water. There are basically no twists and turns in the development of the plot. For example, in the most "thrilling" section of the film, which rescued Dima's family, there were basically no waves and no sense of tension at all. As for the black gold politics of officials being bought by the Mafia, it was just a slight mention. Even the investigative motives were reduced to the level of private enmity between the intelligence officials and the old boss, and the final turn of the film was completely unexpected.
Throughout the whole film, although there are no bright spots, there are no outstanding shortcomings. It is too thin to find the selfless help of the husband and wife to the family of strange Russian gang money laundering experts only with a sense of glory. As for the starring role of the film, I was also the main motivation for watching the film. Ivan McGregor (again, proving the importance of the star)'s performance is the same as the style of the whole film, but it is not lost. All in all, this film is basically a taste of chicken ribs, it is tasteless, and it is a pity to discard it.
