The resonance of soul and cosmic energy

After reading the evaluations of many bean friends, the praises and criticisms are mixed and normal. Everyone looks at things from a different perspective, so you can find the best one for yourself. But I want to say that the shock of this film to me is still quite powerful. I am not a Christian and I am not a god or Buddha. Before watching this movie, I came across a book called "The Journey of the Soul" and suddenly found that it coincides with many viewpoints in the movie. We say that each of us in the material world is an individual with a perfect soul, trapped in our own body, and each of us exercises the level of our inner soul in each cycle of life and death. The film allows us to face the fact that all the things that any one of us experience in our life is a game pre-arranged by cosmic energy, but in the film, it uses the term God instead of cosmic energy to play a role. The intention to promote religious beliefs. We can put aside religion, but from the event itself, Missy’s death is also something that this poor child has to experience when he is reborn as a human being. In reincarnation after reincarnation, we raise the level of our inner soul and reach resonance with the energy of the universe. The soul itself is not good or bad, and human conscious behavior will affect and hinder our inner soul's driving force for good. My biggest feeling from watching this movie is that I learn how to calmly accept the facts, how to overcome your own inner narrowness and selfishness, evil and revenge from your seemingly cruel and unfair encounters, and change my thinking mode to be positive. Being optimistic about life and the people or things around you will make more sense. I don't want to criticize the original intention of the film, because it does not affect my understanding of things. I hope we can be more proactive in finding views that are beneficial to us and experience the world with a more tolerant attitude.

The Shack quotes

  • Holy Spirit (Sarayu): Let me ask you, how confident are you in your ability to discern good from evil?

    Mack Phillips: Usually pretty obvious.

Holy Spirit (Sarayu): And your basis for something being good is what?

Mack Phillips: Well, if it helps me, or the people that I love.

    Holy Spirit (Sarayu): And evil?

Mack Phillips: It's harmful. If it hurts someone I care about.

Holy Spirit (Sarayu): So, pretty much, you are the judge?

    Mack Phillips: Yeah, I guess.

Holy Spirit (Sarayu): You ever been wrong? Or changed your opinion over time?

    Mack Phillips: I mean, sure.

Holy Spirit (Sarayu): And there are billions like you, each determining what you think is good and evil. And when your good clashes with your neighbor's evil, arguments ensue. Wars break out. Because all insist on playing God. You weren't meant to do any of that.

  • Mack Phillips: God has time to catch a few rays?

Papa: [chuckles] Honey, you have no idea how much I'm doin' right now.
