Sandcastle is an anti-war movie with the background of the Iraq War. From the beginning, the actor did not want to participate in the war until he was reluctant to leave. He felt that his mission had not been completed. Iraq was a mess, and the people were still in dire straits. Some The place can't even drink water, but it is actually a war initiated by the United States that brought them to the battlefield to try to use American methods to resolve the long-standing Shiite-Sunni conflict. In the film, an engineer mentioned that in Iraq it was originally free to go to university, and that the hero came to join the army because he could not pay the university tuition, which is really ironic.
